About fanlistings
According to thefanlistings.org, a fanlisting is an online list of fans of a subject, such as a TV show, actor, or musician, that is created by an individual and open for fans from around the world to join. There are no costs, and the only requirements to join a fanlisting are your name and country. Fanlistings do not have to be large sites (although some are); they are just a place where you can sign up with other fans.
About Snark
Snark was started in March 2007 by Jacky, after the closure of nu/mb. A lot of the nu/mb members migrated to Snark, and if you haven't, why not? It's a very active community with over 150 members and 15000+ posts in only a month and half!
Not only is the forum very well designed, maintained and active, it's also a very welcoming and friendly community full of talented webdesigners. Although I (Amelie) was not part of the original nu/mb membership, I was made to feel welcome straight away which is something I have rarely experienced at any other forum.
Snark's general age consensus is around the young adult (18-24) range, but there are lots of younger members and they're not left out by any means. There are topics and debates about everything, so you should find something to suit you. ;)
